The intention of NWUML is to bring together researchers and Ph.D. students in the fields of software and system modeling, including new and standard UML-based languages, model-based development methods and tools. NWUML intends to be an open forum with ample time set aside for panels and discussions. The workshop intends to function as a platform for establishing co-operative research projects between the participants.

The first Nordic UML Workshop was organized in Ronneby, Sweden (2003). Most of the participants at earlier NWUML's were from the Nordic countries, but everyone is welcome!



Paper Submissions

Submit full papers (at most 6000) or short papers (1500-3000 words are recommended) by email to apada@abo.fi before May 16 as PDF. Papers should be formatted using the Springer LNCS style:

Ph.D. students are encouraged to submit papers about their ongoing or planned research. Indicate in the email whether you are a research student or not. All submitted papers will be reviewed by three members of the programme committee (see below.)

All accepted papers will be published as a university technical report with ISBN. Also, we plan to publish as a Special Issue of the Nordic Journal of Computing of specially invited journal-length papers which elaborate on selected research results presented at the workshop.
